AOCOED STAFF SCHOOL

About Us

The School was established on 22nd October, 1992 and it was then called LACOED Staff School. The name later changed to AOCOED staff school as a result of the change in the name of the entire College to Adeniran Ogunsanya College Of Education (AOCOED) to immortalize the name of a renowned Nigerian politician- Adeniran Ogunsanya; after his death. The establishment of the school was on the decision of the Academic Board of the college to have a Demonstration School. The School was created with the intention of making it a self-sustaining institution.
The School is presently housed within the former Science Complex of the College. It started initially with five functional classrooms, two support staff and six NCE graduates.
The number of the functional classrooms has increased to seventeen. The school also started with one hundred and twenty pupils with teaching and support staff.
