Born on 26th September, 1970, Prince Adebisi Adeyanju started his educational career at Salawu Abiola Comprehensive High School, Abeokuta, Ogun State, in 1982 and completed his secondary education in 1988 with two scholarship awards.
With the aid of one of the scholarship awarded to him in his secondary school, Prince Adeyanju started his higher educational pursuit at Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State, for his National Diploma (ND) in Accountancy from 1990 to 1992. In 1993, he did his mandatory one year Industrial Attachment at the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, where he served in the Bursary Department. The College offered him permanent appointment as a staff in March, 1994 after satisfactory completion of his industrial training. With the support of the College Staff Training and Development programme, Prince Adeyanju completed his Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy at Ogun State (now Moshood Abiola) Polytechnic, Ojere, Abeokuta, in December, 1996. He capped his educational career with a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye.
Prince Adebisi Adeyanju was in Kafin Madaki, headquarters of Ganjuwa Local Goverment Area of Bauchi, Bauchi State for his mandatory National Youth Service programme (NYSC) from 1997-1998 and returned to the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, in 1998 after the completion of his NYSC.
He qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in November 2001 and was elevated to a Fellow (FCA) of the Institute in 2013. He is also an Associate member (ACTI) of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and a Registered Professional Accountant with the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN). Prince Adeyanju is prominent in the ICAN circle. He was a member of the Executive Committee of Abeokuta & District Society of ICAN, and currently he is an Assessor of Professional Examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria since the year 2013.
In 2005, Prince Adeyanju joined the services of Bells University of Technology, Ota, as a pioneer Principal Accountant in the Bursary Department. He became the first Chief Accountant of the University in 2008 and was appointed as the first Deputy Bursar of the University in 2015. While in Bells University of Technology, Ota, Prince Adeyanju was elected as the Pioneer President, Bells University (OTA) Staff Cooperative Investment and Credit Society Limited from 2005 to 2010. He has attended several workshops, seminars and conferences and has many awards to his credit.
Prince Adebisi Adeyanju was appointed as the Substantive Bursar of Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Oto/Ijanikin in December, 2016, and he assumed duty on Wednesday, 1st February, 2017. He has since his assumption of duty put his over two decade’s wealth of experience in Bursary Administration to use in restructuring and repositioning of AOCOED Bursary Department.
The College Bursar is happily married to Mrs Toyin Adeyanju and the marriage is blessed with children.
